I've downloaded the last few episodes of Heroes to get caught up. I wonder if anyone else thinks that the actors on this show are absolutely horrible. Is it the actors or the writing? I'm not sure about that, but it really pulls me away from the story line which is pretty good. I'm assuming it'll get  better as the season goes on.

I felt that way about the first two seasons of CSI. Terrible show, but addicting as all hell.

How do you take your tea or coffee?

Funny that I should be asked because I just walked back from the kitchen were I was talking about this question exactly.

My boss makes his coffee so strong that the office calls it 'the oil'. For me this is counterintuitive because while the effect of the coffee goes up (caffeine/sugar), the taste equally goes down. I don't drink coffee for the buzz, I drink it because I really love the taste and this is exactly why I can't drink coffee at work.

I will admit that I am a coffee snob for this reason. The people who can drink coffee sludge are the people who use coffee as a means to an end.  I need to have the highest quality beans, freshly ground and well brewed. There is nothing better than not having to use much cream and sugar because the coffee tastes good enough.

Everybodysmother

I have had music ADD for weeks now. I have been looking through top 10 music lists and then downloading those albums from my napster account.and I haven't found anything that I really love.

I really want to love mainstream indie music, but it all sounds the same! Help me find something that is unique! I guess it is really the fact that I have very particular tastes for the intersection of musicianship and song writing that makes it hard for me to find anything that I can connect to. I really like this Califone album that I downloaded though. What happen to the days where everything was amazing? That I would travel an hour to buy two records? Though I can download a dozen albums a day from work via the internet, I cant find something that sings to me. Have my music tastes become so narrow that I don't have an ear for much variety anymore?

o many questions, but I feel so helpless with it right now.
